Germany's Nemetschek to acquire HCSS from Thoma Bravo
April 13 (Reuters) - German software and AI provider Nemetschek NEKG.DE will acquire construction-management software provider Heavy Construction Systems Specialists (HCSS) from Thoma Bravo, the companies said on Monday.
Here are some details:
The deal will combine HCSS with Build & Construct, a unit of Nemetschek.
Nemetschek will hold around 72% of the Build & Construct segment, with Thoma Bravo holding around 28% as a minority shareholder.
The German firm said it would refinance all existing HCSS debt and liabilities, which would impact the group's net debt position by around 450 million euros ($529.07 million).
Thoma Bravo acquired HCSS in 2021.
The companies expect the deal to close in the second half of the year.
