SAO PAULO, March 11 (Reuters) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro are statistically tied in a potential second-round matchup in the October presidential election, a Quaest poll commissioned by brokerage Genial showed on Wednesday.
Both candidates would have 41% of the vote in the second round, the poll said.
In a February survey, Lula was seen taking 43% in a run-off, ahead of the senator's 38%.
FIRST ROUND
Lula would have 36% to 39% of the vote in seven simulated first-round scenarios with different challengers.
Flavio Bolsonaro is seen taking between 30% and 35% of votes in those scenarios.
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

Recent AtlasIntel/Bloomberg and Datafolha surveys had also showed the right-wing senator drawing even with the leftist president as his candidacy gained ground.
Quaest surveyed 2,004 people between March 6-9.
The poll has a margin of error of two percentage points in either direction.
