U.S., Latin American countries face test whether they will remain Western and Christian, Hegseth says

MIAMI, March 5 (Reuters) - Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth told Latin American defense leaders gathered for a meeting that their countries face a test of whether they will remain Western and Christian or be torn apart by "uncontrolled mass migration" and other perceived threats.

"We face an essential test whether our nations will be and remain Western nations with distinct characteristics, Christian nations under God," Hegseth said at the Americas Counter Cartel Conference.
