South Korea chip industry concerned Iran crisis will lead to higher chip prices, lawmaker says

SEOUL, March 5 (Reuters) - South Korea's chip industry raised concerns that the Iran crisis may increase power costs and chip prices and cast a cloud on plans to build AI data centres in the Middle East if the situation is prolonged, ruling party lawmaker Kim Young-bae said on Thursday.
Kim made the comment after meeting with executives from companies such as Samsung Electronics 005930.KS and business groups.
