China's defence spending to rise 7% in 2026 vs 7.2% set for 2025

BEIJING, March 5 (Reuters) - China's 2026 defence spending will rise 7%, a copy of an official government report reviewed by Reuters showed on Thursday.
The figure is slightly lower than the 2025 increase of 7.2% and roughly in line with rises over the last decade.
