Germany expects US tariffs on EU imports to stay within 2025 deal

BERLIN, Feb 27 (Reuters) - Germany assumes that any future U.S. tariffs on European Union products will not exceed the tariff agreement reached in 2025, a government spokesperson said on Friday.
The spokesperson said that Chancellor Friedrich Merz and U.S. President Donald Trump will discuss trade issues, security and bilateral relations during their meeting in Washington on Tuesday.
