Japan trade minister requested US tariff treatment stay as agreed, government says

TOKYO, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Japan's trade minister Ryosei Akazawa spoke with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick on Monday, the Japanese government said on Tuesday.
Akazawa requested that Japan's treatment under new tariff measures be not less favourable than under last year's agreement, the government said.
