China's commerce minister urges compliance in meeting with Chinese firms in US

Sept 24 (Reuters) - China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao urged some Chinese firms operating in the United States to attach importance to diversified strategies and compliance in a meeting with them on Tuesday in New York, according to a ministry statement.

China's commerce ministry will strive to stabilise China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation and safeguard Chinese firms' legitimate rights and interests, Wang said.
