Zelenskiy flies into New York ahead of UN address, Trump meeting
UNITED NATIONS, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy landed in New York on Monday, a source familiar with the matter said, as he prepares to meet U.S. President Donald Trump and address the United Nations General Assembly in the coming days.
The Ukrainian leader is expected to urge Trump to impose new sanctions on Russia and to discuss possible security guarantees from Europe and the United States that Kyiv sees as vital for any viable settlement in the war launched by Russia.
