Trump urges US House Republicans to vote for temporary funding bill
WASHINGTON, Sept 18 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday urged Republicans in the House of Representatives to vote in favor of a stopgap funding bill to avert a government shutdown.
"TOMORROW, House Republicans are taking a very important Vote to pass a CLEAN TEMPORARY FUNDING BILL," Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. "Every House Republican should UNIFY, and VOTE YES!"
