EU's von der Leyen: Ukraine must become a steel porcupine, indigestible for aggressors
BRUSSELS, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Ukraine must become a steel porcupine, indigestible for present and future aggressors, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Thursday after a meeting with the "coalition of the willing", Ukraine's allies.
"That means standing armed forces that are strong, well-equipped, and modern. Our defence industries are accelerating cooperation to make this happen", she added in the statement.
