South Korea's justice minister says Trump seems to have distorted information about President Lee
SEOUL, Aug 25 (Reuters) - South Korea's justice minister said on Monday he had the impression that U.S. President Donald Trump and other leaders in Washington had "distorted information" about South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and the country's ruling liberal party.
The minister, Jung Sung-ho, made the comment in parliament in Seoul, when asked by a lawmaker about Trump's latest criticism just hours ahead of his summit with Lee. Differences over defence spending and trade have recently tested the two countries' decades-old alliance.
