Aug 18 - (The Insurer) - Arthur J Gallagher has completed its $13.5 billion acquisition of rival broker AssuredPartners, the company said on Monday.
The Insurer reported on August 10 that the deal, announced in December 2024, was close to completion.
Gallagher had originally expected to close the transaction in the first quarter but the process was delayed in March as part of a regulatory antitrust review.
During the company’s second-quarter earnings call at the start of August, chairman and CEO Pat Gallagher said the additional period of review time had allowed for more integration planning.
AssuredPartners was founded in 2011 and reported revenues of $2.8 billion in the 12 months to June 30, 2024.
