- (The Insurer) - Dynamic Reinsurance has reshuffled its leadership with Francisco Hernández appointed CEO of the Miami-based MGA while Eduardo Betancourt will now lead the company’s Latin America operations.

Alongside the new roles for Hernández and Betancourt, Jesus Sanchez has joined the company from Munich Re as chief commercial officer.

As global CEO, Hernández will lead Dynamic Re’s operations in Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa, Spain and also its soon-to-open London operation.

“Hernández will continue to provide the strategic vision, market-opening expertise, and relationship-building skills that have propelled Dynamic Re’s transformation from a regional MGA into a global underwriting powerhouse,” the MGA said.

“His leadership will now guide our growth across continents, ensuring consistency, innovation, and impact in every market,” it added.

With Hernández stepping up to CEO, Betancourt will change roles from CUO to CEO for Latin America, a position in which he will lead underwriting and client relationships across the region.

Sanchez, who at Munich Re served as property senior consultant and director of facultative, brings 25 years of experience to Dynamic Re. Alongside Munich Re, Sanchez’s career includes time spent at Mexican reinsurance Reaseguradora Patria.

Miami-based Dynamic Re writes a book of property facultative, marine, financial lines, engineering and casualty business for clients based in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East and North Africa.

In late June, AM Best announced that it has assigned a Performance Assessment of PA-2 (Excellent) to Dynamic Re.
