Ascot targets US contractors with new liability insurance

Aug 15 - (The Insurer) - Ascot Group has launched Prime Propel, a combined environmental and professional liability insurance product aimed at U.S. contractors, the specialty insurer said.

The policy targets general, trade, specialty and artisan contractors, offering protection against environmental liabilities and professional errors or omissions.

Ascot said the product is designed to address complex and costly risks at building sites.

“Prime Propel is thoughtfully designed to help contractors effectively manage the complicated and potentially costly risks associated with professional and environmental exposures,” said Tyler Patrizio, vice president and head of environmental construction, Ascot.
