WASHINGTON, July 7 (Reuters) - White House trade adviser Peter Navarro on Monday defended his promise of 90 trade deals in 90 days, saying "negotiations are proceeding well" but offering no specifics.
"I'm happy with the progress we've had because every country that we run a major deficit with is fully engaged. I think what we're learning from the negotiations is simply ... how difficult it is for these countries to give up the advantage they have over us," Navarro told CNBC in an interview.
