China's decision on EU brandies "positive step", says France's Macron
PARIS, July 4 (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday welcomed China's decision to close the investigation into European brandies and accept proposals put forward by most of France's cognac and armagnac producers.
"This is a positive step towards putting an end to the dispute that was threatening our exports. I will continue to support our industry to ensure that its interests are fully protected," Macron said in a post on X.
