Expect more trade deals to be announced next week, US official says

July 2 (Reuters) - U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary Michael Faulkender on Wednesday said he expects the Trump administration to announce some trade deals next week before its July 9 deadline.
"I would expect that we have a number of deals that are announced next week," Faulkender said in an interview on CNBC. "For those for which negotiations have not really gone forward, I would anticipate next week an announcement of what their tariff rate would be."
