Davies names BMS’ Ferris as CEO of captive management business

July 1 - (The Insurer) - Professional services and technology company Davies has appointed James Ferris from BMS Group as CEO of its captive management business, effective immediately.
Based in Bermuda, Ferris succeeds Nick Frost, who has served as CEO of captive management for 14 years and will now take on an ambassadorial role as chairman.
Ferris joins Davies after three years at BMS as CEO of capital and risk advisory in Bermuda. Prior to joining BMS, Ferris spent two decades at PwC as lead partner of the advisory team in both Bermuda and the UK.
