Mapfre USA adds QBE’s Pasko as general counsel and secretary

June 25 - (The Insurer) - Mapfre USA has appointed Mark Pasko from QBE North America as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective July 21.
Pasko joins Mapfre USA after eight years at QBE North America, where he most recently served as chief legal officer.
Earlier in his career, he held roles at AIG and Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti.
In his new role, Pasko will be responsible for Mapfre’s legal, regulatory and government affairs in the U.S., as well as compliance, state filings and corporate governance matters.
Mapfre Insurance serves policyholders in 11 states across the U.S. It is the largest auto and home insurer in Massachusetts and the 21st largest private passenger auto insurer in the U.S.
