Howden Belgium appoints De Baets CEO

June 19 - (The Insurer) - Howden has appointed Patrick De Baets as CEO of Howden Belgium, the company said on Thursday.
De Baets, who brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, will lead on Howden's aim to accelerate its growth and investment in the Belgian market.
He has joined from Foyer Assurances, where he led the Belgian business. His previous experience included as CEO of Touring Assurances and BNP Paribas Cardif Belgium.
Howden entered the Belgian market in 2020 and has since made a number of strategic acquisitions, including Sarton & Associés, WDR Insurance, Flanders and Dwels.
