Petrobras, Chevron-led consortia pick up blocks in Foz do Amazonas auction
SAO PAULO, June 17 (Reuters) - A consortium between Brazil's state-owned oil company Petrobras PETR4.SA and ExxonMobil XOM.N was awarded five blocks in the controversial Foz do Amazonas basin in an auction held by the South American country's ANP authority on Tuesday.
Another consortium, led by Chevron CVX.N, acquired another six blocks in the same auction.
