North Korea will send sappers and construction workers to rebuild Russia's Kursk region, Shoigu says

MOSCOW, June 17 (Reuters) - North Korea will send 1,000 sappers and 5,000 military construction workers to Russia's Kursk region to help rebuild it after a Ukrainian incursion, Russian security official Sergei Shoigu said on Tuesday, the Interfax news agency reported.
Shoigu, the head of Russia's Security Council, is currently on a visit to North Korea.
