South Korea trade chief expects intense talks with US in coming weeks
SEOUL, June 17 (Reuters) - South Korea's trade negotiations with the U.S. are expected to proceed in an intense manner in the next few weeks, Seoul's top negotiator said on Tuesday, a day after a task force was set up to coordinate the government response.
Minister for Trade Yeo Han-koo said South Korea's trade talks had been sluggish compared with some other major countries due to various uncertainties, but now under a new administration authorities would actively engage for a mutually beneficial outcome.
