French President Macron says he asked Iran's president to resume nuclear talks
PARIS, June 14 (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron said on Saturday he asked the Iranian President in a phone call to resume nuclear talks.
"The issue of Iran's nuclear capacity is serious: it must be settled through negotiation. I thus invited President Pezeshkian to return rapidly to the negotiating table to reach an agreement, the only possible path to defuse the situation," Macron said in a post on social network X .
