Guy Carpenter's Klisura joins Blue Marble board

June 13 - (The Insurer) - Parametric climate specialist Blue Marble has appointed Dean Klisura, president and CEO of global reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter, to its board of directors, the company said on Friday.
Klisura will represent Marsh McLennan on the board. He succeeds Alex Moczarski, who is retiring from the board after serving since Blue Marble, an entity that provides insurance protection in emerging markets, was founded in 2015. Moczarski previously held various roles at Marsh McLennan.
Blue Marble's owner companies include Aspen Insurance Group, ASSA Compañia de Seguros, Marsh McLennan, TransRe, and Zurich Insurance. It recently launched a reinsurance facility fronted by Zurich.
Blue Marble CEO Jaime de Piniés told The Insurer TV in April about the company's goal to double its impact by 2027.
