OdysseyRe names Meghani London head of property treaty and retrocession

June 6 - (The Insurer) - OdysseyRe has appointed Nisha Meghani as head of property treaty and retrocession for its London branch, the company said on Thursday.

Meghani has taken on the role vacated by Matthew Sheppard, who was appointed deputy chief underwriting officer for the London branch on Wednesday. She will continue to oversee cyber liability as part of her new role.

Scott Gibson, currently head of marine, aviation and space, will take on additional responsibilities for specialty lines including war, terror, political violence, and credit and political risks.

The London branch will be reorganised into three teams: property and cyber led by Meghani, specialty and marine led by Gibson, and casualty and motor led by Wayne Adams.
