White House says top aides are in touch with foreign counterparts to discuss tariffs after court ruling

WASHINGTON, May 29 (Reuters) - The White House on Thursday said top U.S. officials have been in touch with their counterparts in other countries to discuss a trade court ruling against President Donald Trump's tariff agenda.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters at a briefing the White House is reviewing other avenues for the Trump trade policies. Trump spoke to Japan's leader on Thursday to discuss the issue, she said.
