Helios names Wade as chair of audit committee

May 29 - (The Insurer) - Helios Underwriting has appointed Katie Wade as the company’s first senior independent director and chair of the audit committee, starting June 1.

Wade will succeed Andrew Christie as chair, who will remain a member of the audit committee.

Wade has been a part of the board as an independent non-executive director since August 2024 and sits on both audit committee and nominations and remuneration committee of the board.

The company had announced in February that former executive chairman Michael Wade stepped down from the role and John Chambers became interim executive chairman. This happened less than a year after former CEO Martin Reith stepped down from his position.
