May 21 - (The Insurer) - Distinguished Programs is now an endorsed insurance provider for the National Independent Talent Organization (NITO) after entering into a partnership with Johnsonese Brokerage.
NITO represents hundreds of independent talent agencies and managers across the U.S. and over 5,000 touring artists across the live and recorded music industries, and provides members exclusive benefits.
Through the newly inked tie-up, NITO members will have access to exclusive discounted pricing when insuring their musical instruments through the program.
Distinguished’s fine art and collectibles program, in partnership with Johnsonese, provides tailored insurance solutions for musical instruments and those who depend on them.
Program Manager revealed in December 2022 that Distinguished had recruited Patrick Drummond from Axa XL to spearhead the formation of the company’s fine art and collectibles program.
The fine art and collectibles program can now offer up to $125mn of coverage for single risks in the US.
Drummond, formerly Axa XL’s head of Americas art and specie, was the first major hire made by Distinguished under the new management brought in by its private equity backer Aquiline since it bought into the program administrator in early 2022.
