Hiscox adds Chubb’s Sinkus as US CUO

April 29 - (The Insurer) - Hiscox has appointed Nick Sinkus from Chubb as chief underwriting officer for the U.S., effective May 5.
With over two decades of experience in personal lines and commercial underwriting, Sinkus most recently served as Chubb’s senior vice president for small commercial P&C products.
Before Chubb, he held various leadership roles at Mutual of Enumclaw and Travelers.
In his new role, Sinkus will lead all aspects of Hiscox USA’s underwriting and product development.
He will report to Mary Boyd, CEO of Hiscox USA, and Jo Musselle, CUO of Hiscox Group, and will serve on the Hiscox U.S. leadership team as well as the Hiscox Group underwriting leadership team.
“Not only has Nick led digital transformations and delivered intuitive online experiences for leading carriers, he also possesses strong product management experience and a classical underwriting background,” said Boyd.
