Higginbotham acquires Florida-based agency Construction Casualty Insurance

April 29 - (The Insurer) – Texas-based insurance, finance and HR services firm Higginbotham has partnered with commercial insurance agency Construction Casualty Insurance (CCI), based in St. Petersburg, Florida, and will integrate CCI’s cloud-based risk management platform, CompCorrect, into its Day Two Services offering.
CompCorrect utilizes AI to assess variables, automate communication among stakeholders and apply state-specific legal and regulatory guidelines to help reduce claims costs and improve outcomes.
CCI president and CEO Brad Dempton explained that the platform can run a client's historical claims through the system “to identify areas where the client's claim process can be improved, and provide an estimate as to how much money was left on the table by not acting sooner."
"CCI brings impressive construction capabilities, deep regional expertise, and a strong team with a great reputation," said Higginbotham chairman and CEO Rusty Reid.
