Citigroup's shareholders approve 2024 pay for CEO, executives, new shares for grants
NEW YORK, April 29 (Reuters) - A large majority of Citigroup shareholders has approved CEO's Jane Fraser's 33% pay increase to $34.5 million at a virtual annual meeting held on Tuesday, as well as the compensation for other senior executives.
More than 91% of shareholders voted in favor of the compensation packages. All proposals by Citi's board were approved with more then 90% of the votes, and all shareholders proposals were rejected.
