UN says strikes in Yemen a growing risk to civilians
April 28 (Reuters) - United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is deeply alarmed by reports of strikes on a detention centre for African migrants in Yemen, U.N. spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said on Monday.
"Strikes pose a growing risk to the civilian population in Yemen," he said. "We continue to call on all parties to uphold their obligations under international humanitarian law, including the protection of civilians."
