Hiscox names Withey its London Market chief technology officer

April 28 - (The Insurer) - Hiscox has appointed Phil Withey as chief technology officer for Hiscox London Market, the company said on Monday.
He will start in June and will be based in London, reporting to Hiscox Group chief information officer Chris Loake and Hiscox London Market CEO Kate Markham.
Hiscox said he will oversee the London Market technology strategy and the transformation of trading systems, with a focus on data, digital and AI investments.
Withey joins from London Stock Exchange Group, where he held senior technology roles, including head of architecture for FTSE Russell and the LSEG-Microsoft Partnership.
