Kremlin says U.S. position ruling out NATO membership for Ukraine gives satisfaction

MOSCOW, April 21 (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Monday that the position of U.S. President Donald Trump's administration on ruling out NATO membership for Ukraine gave Moscow satisfaction, but declined to comment on Trump's hopes for deal this week.

President Vladimir Putin and Russia remain open to finding a settlement to the Ukraine crisis, and work with the U.S. is ongoing, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
