World Bank's Banga calls for liberalization of trade in developing countries
WASHINGTON, April 16 (Reuters) - World Bank President Ajay Banga on Wednesday urged developing countries to lower tariffs and liberalize trade, noting that many developing countries had high tariffs and lowering them could offset the risk of reciprocal tariffs.
Banga told reporters global uncertainty was contributing to a more cautious business and economic environment, but said there was also untapped potential in deeper regional integration.
