China's Xpeng eyes Volkswagen partnership on joint procurement and different models
HONG KONG, April 16 (Reuters) - Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng 9868.HK said on Wednesday that it's looking at more aspects of collaboration with Volkswagen VOWG.DE such as joint procurement, charging and different car models.
"For our collaboration with Volkswagen, it’s always been a strategic one. It’s not simply about agreement on tech. It is more in depth," Xpeng's President Brian Gu told reporters in Hong Kong.
