Everest Insurance appoints AIG's Reiss as US Northeast regional executive

April 14 - (The Insurer) - Everest Insurance has appointed Steve Reiss, former northeast zonal president at AIG, as U.S. northeast regional executive.
Reiss will be based in New York, and report to Craig Hanrahan, head of field operations insurance.
He has over three decades of experience in the industry.
The Insurer reported in March that Reiss had resigned from his role at AIG after two years and was linked with a move to join former Chubb executives at Everest. He has also held executive roles at WTW, Chubb and Marsh.
“Steve’s trusted leadership, deep broker and client relationships and proven track record of delivering exceptional service make him an excellent addition to our U.S. retail field operations team,” Hanrahan said.
“His leadership across the northeast region will further strengthen our strategy and enhance the superior service we provide to our retail clients and broker partners.”
In March, Everest promoted Jeanmarie Giordano to the role of North America chief underwriting officer.
