Kremlin says Witkoff-Putin contact useful, but possible Trump meeting not substantively discussed
MOSCOW, April 14 (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Monday that contacts between U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Russian President Vladimir Putin were useful and effective, but the two had not substantively discussed a possible meeting between Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Putin met Witkoff in St Petersburg last Friday.
