Canada PM Carney welcomes Trump's tariff pause
TORONTO, April 9 (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Wednesday welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump's 90-day pause on some tariffs charged on trading partners.
"The pause on reciprocal tariffs announced by President Trump is a welcome reprieve for the global economy," Carney said in a post on X.
