Trump's vehicle tariffs to impact auto investments in Latam, says Anfavea president
SAO PAULO, April 8 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs on vehicle imports should impact sector investments in Latin American countries due to idled production at Mexico plants, automakers association Anfavea president Marcio Leite said on Tuesday.
Trump's tariffs on vehicles will cause 1 million fewer autos to be imported into the U.S. market and raise prices, Anfavea said, citing data from J.D. Power.
