April 3 - (The Insurer) - Willis has expanded the capacity available through its CyXS excess layer cyber facility to $115 million via Lloyd’s syndicates and up to $40 million outside Lloyd’s.
The expanded capacity is also available in pounds and euros of the same amount.
The CyXS facility was launched in February last year, initially with an excess layer of $50 million.
Led by Axis and Canopius, it is available to Willis clients that purchase excess layer cyber programs.
The latest expansion also includes the CyXS Plus and CyXS Company offerings, each offering a further $40 million of capacity from outside the Lloyd’s market.
Simon Delchar, global head of placement at Willis, said the expansion of CyXS Plus and CyXS Company brings the number of insurers supporting the facility to 25.
