South Korea will swiftly respond to US tariffs, finance minister says
SEOUL, April 2 (Reuters) - South Korea's finance minister said on Wednesday the government would swiftly prepare response measures to U.S. reciprocal tariffs due to be announced later in the day.
Minister Choi Sang-mok said the government would also consult more closely with the U.S. administration about issues related to trade and foreign exchange, while monitoring financial markets to prevent excessive volatility after the announcement.
