BHSI promotes Kidd to Europe head of underwriting

April 1 - (The Insurer) - Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has promoted Louise Kidd to head of underwriting for Europe.

In her new role, Kidd is based in Dublin and will continue her previous responsibilities as global financial lines underwriting officer.

BHSI said she will work closely with its country managers to execute strategies across its product lines.

Kidd joined BHSI in 2020 as head of third-party lines in Ireland. She has 22 years of industry experience.

This continues BHSI's recent European focus, which included the creation of a Milan office and its launch into the Nordics.
