Volkswagen says U.S. tariffs bad for growth and prosperity

BERLIN, March 27 (Reuters) - Germany's Volkswagen said on Thursday that U.S. tariffs and any counter-tariffs would have negative consequences for growth and prosperity in the U.S. and other economic areas.
"The entire automotive industry, global supply chains and companies as well as customers will have to bear the negative consequences," the German carmaker said in a statement.
