China says new US auto tariffs won't help solve its own problems

BEIJING, March 27 (Reuters) - The planned U.S. tariffs on imported vehicles violate WTO rules and won't help Washington solve its own problems, China's foreign ministry said on Thursday.
No country can achieve prosperity through imposing additional tariffs, a ministry spokesperson said at a regular press conference.
