- (The Insurer) - Tradesman Program Managers has hired Kevin Pugh, former regional underwriting officer at Travelers, as chief underwriting officer of its construction group, replacing Steve Sanchez in the role.

Sanchez resigned from the role in November 2024 to take up a new post with Arthur J Gallagher-owned wholesaler Risk Placement Services, Program Manager reported.

Pugh has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Before a 10-year tenure at Travelers, he held roles at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, The Amerisc Corp and Allied North America.

In his role, Pugh will oversee all aspects of the division and focus on driving innovation and growth within the company's construction-related programs.

Daniel Hickey, CEO of Tradesman Program Managers and its parent Roosevelt Road Specialty, said Pugh's "deep understanding of the industry and commitment to delivering tailored solutions will be invaluable as we continue to expand offerings and provide unparalleled service to our clients."
