NY Fed adds extra daily standing repo operation for March 27 - April 2 period

March 21 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Friday said it will conduct an additional overnight standing repo facility (SRF) operation on each day from March 27 until April 2.

The New York Fed said the regular SRF operations will continue to take place during this period and the aggregate limit of $500 billion will apply to the combined daily operations.

The bank had conducted a similar operation in December last year, covering the end of the calendar year into early January.
