Risk Strategies acquires PA-based Griffith Insurance

Feb 5 - (The Insurer) - Risk Strategies has acquired West Chester, Pennsylvania-based Griffith Insurance, a full-service independent insurance agency.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1988, Griffith Insurance offers a variety of risk and liability products for both commercial and private clients, with a strong focus on the construction sector. Its personal lines division specialises in serving high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

In addition to construction and personal lines, Griffith provides commercial insurance services, including business owners' policies and commercial auto coverage. Following the acquisition, clients will also gain access to Risk Strategies' full range of specialty practices.

Since its 2017 acquisition of medical malpractice specialist Cornerstone Professional Liability Consultants, Risk Strategies has completed numerous acquisitions in Pennsylvania, with Griffith as its latest, according to the company.

“This move brings an array of specialty capabilities and resources that will help us better serve current clients and compete more effectively for new ones,” said Tom Griffith, owner of Griffith Insurance.
